Hoy hoy all. I be looking at getting myself a 4GB flash drive and have come down to two that I would like some comments on.
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16820227145 - ocz

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16820233027 - corsair

The ocz be faster, cheaper, and comes with a warranty which lasts a lifetime. Alas the corsair has a nice rubber case which could prevent the need for the warrenty.

I would like to know any personal opinions on each should ye be willing to share them. I am particularly interested in the opinions of redbeard and our ocz rep (do we even have one?).
Many thanks in advance

Rubber doesn't do anything for you when you plug it in and its energized. Thats the internals of the flash drive, so don't count on it 'protecting' against anything. Flash drives have no moving parts, and I've dropped by Cruzer Mini a million times, even in a puddle, it still works fine. =D

OCZ = better, just for the speed of it alone.
