No im not talking about shipping, im talking about a battery backup. About a week ago I bought a Belkin 550VA UPS off newegg. So I read the manual, followed the instructions, charged it, and all that stuff. Well on the back there is lit up red light that says "Site Wiring Error." After scouring through the manual they claim these are the reasons for this light being emitted: 1. Open or high-resistance ground 2. Hot and neutral polarity reversal 3. Overloaded neutral circuit. Don't get me wrong, I know quite a bit about technology, but they don't include what this means in the manual. So what exactly does this mean? Will it not work? Will it not be safe? How can I fix this? Please keep in mind this is the only appliance plugged into that specific outlet and has been screwed into the grounding screw(not sure if the actual screw is grounded).
