Hey guys, got a bit of a problem that has stumped me.
Several programs such as: point32.exe, MS Streets & Trips, SnagIT, and others try to find a connection on 10.25.8.233:8100 from time to time.
Now, this is not a valid ip, so far as i can tell, or it is one that does not respond to ping.
When a program attempts to connect to this ip, it is usually trying to 'call home' to update the program. Obviuosly, this doesn't work.
Have I been the victim of a worm or virus or other malicious program?
And, how can I alleviate this and get my programs back and running as normal?
Thanks for the help..
