uninstalling bf2 patch?

it is quite easy to uninstall the patch, the problem is it takes the rest of the game with it :)

an uninstall and reinstall will get you back to 1.0
 
and i highly recomend getting rid of the patch..

do a simple uninstall of the game, update your punkbuster file and do a defrag of your harddrive..game runs like a champ now..

That statement should never have to be said. I can't believe they allowed a patch out that had a monumental memory leak like this.
 
I thought the memory leaks were just a server side issue?
There's still a load of ranked servers running it. I'll reinstall when they get the patch right.

it is..but EA/DICE told everyone to start un installing the patch.servers were supposed to un install them as well..i have a list of about 15 ranked servers i play on..they are not running the patch..the servers run fine..we could play for days with no lag or crashes
