• Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.

If it's not the memory causing it, the crash seems to be coming from the scsi device driver, likely a SATA port. It could possibly be something overheating (drive or chipset), or a faulty connection. If it happens after an hour, I'd lean towards overheating.

Since it's a laptop, do the fan(s) work and are the intake/exhaust holes not covered or clogged by dust? Some laptops don't cool well when used on soft surfaces like a carpet, bed or couch if it relies on air circulation from the bottom.

One question: is it a Toshiba laptop?

If so, I'm going with the overheating diagnosis.
