I'm going to send this video to Bart Sears for kicks.

Anyone remember the bastard child 2008 Turock? I'm probably alone in saying that I liked it.
I still have all of them on disc. Too bad most are unplayable.

I have the Nightdive one on Steam along with a RG Mechanics version of the 2008 one, plus a version from the Internet Archive of the 2nd one, and plan on replaying all of them before the new one launches.

Nope, never played it. Shadow of Oblivion was the last Turok game I played.

Seems like a bit too much of a departure from the original Turok. The atmostphere and ambiance of the original has really went unmatched to this day IMO. And what made it really stand out was the soundtrack that I still listen to occasionally while running or cycling. I would be amazed if they came anywhere close to it here and would actually much prefer if they tried to remix some of the tracks in this new game if they're at all trying to bring any of that feeling back from the original.

Here's the OST posted by Darren Mitchell, the original composer for it.

Maybe there will be some of that in this new game still that the trailer isn't capturing, but from what it's showing it's mostly focusing on combat and action, which was a significant part of the original, but also not all that made it great.
