Transcend Notebook Memory?

i have a 256 mb transcend sodimm... its been working fine since i got it.

wish i could afford more though. :(
 
There's been reports of around 20-25% failures of the Transcend memory (the 1GB sticks of DDR2 4200).. there's a big thread about it on notebookforums.com
 
got my 2 sticks in today from teh egg. both work fine for me,....also installed the nec dvd-rw dl drive, not bad for around 350.00 for 2 gigs and a dvd burner, alot cheaper than buying from dell.
 
I got the Transcend Memory and it passed 10 cycles of Memtest. This is good memory... :cool:
