I know we have all "AI" piled into one sub right now. If we broke it down to its own category, what different topic categories would you like to see?

Hmm...

The obvious one is a models subcategory, right?

I also see a lot of questions regarding hardware, so I'd definitely have a hardware sub category.

Another one for platforms and tools (Ollama, vLLM, OpenWebUI, Hermes, etc.) maybe?

Maybe one for discussions around configuration and setup?

That's all I can think of right now.

Edit: Maybe also some sort of sub for general philosophical debates and/or thoughts about AI and its effects?

Doing things a bit differently:

- Client hardware + models: stuff which runs on your existing gaming rig or something that looks like one. Good idle, OK cost, and the computer still usable for other things. All the Qwen-27B people will wind up here
- Datacenter hardware + models: stuff which needs a big loud dedicated rig, probably goes in the shop / garage. For all the DeepSeek V4-Flash/GLM-5.3/Minimax-M3 guys
- Unified memory platforms: cheapest way to get to 128 gigabytes but slow as balls, these deserve their own consideration
- Privacy + frontends: all the harnesses are the same and [H] should not degenerate into Openclaw talk, but best practices (especially for open source models) and security are good things to discuss

We have a bit of reorganization done, let's see how it works out.

I really like how we have a ai section that isnt spammed by bots. You look at all the ai reddit subs and other areas of the internet and 100% of the content is just bots.

I try out best to keep our thumb on that. We have systems built in to help us identify before it goes anywhere.
