I have a Thinkpad T43, and unfortunately like many of their other thinkpads the laptop gets excessively hot, to a point where my wrists sweat and it is really uncomfortable. Does anyone know of any solutions for this...

I was looking into trying to find some sort of wrist rest to buy for it but I can't seem to find any. Do i have to just continue to tough it out?
 
Are you sure your fan is working correctly? Fan Failures on ThinkPads (mostly T60's and T61's) are in my top-5 ticket list (along with hard drives, system boards, ram issues and missing HD door/screw reports). Not saying it's higher than normal, that's just the top 5.

The Hard Drive screw/door missing thing is becoming a bit of an epidemic though...
 
actually i just had my fan replaced no more than 6 months ago. So i am sure it is working properly.
 
Well.... I've had a few repeat services on it as well :) You should be able to tell though.
