Thin and Light Laptop?

Hey all, I am looking for a thin and light laptop for photography/travel.

Ideally the laptop just needs to run Photoshop, mainly lightroom. This being said up to an i3 would be fine, but I would prefer to stay under as it's not going to be a processing powerhouse.

Also, a company known for decent screens would be great as it will be edited for photography.

I'm wanting to keep this laptop around the $200 range.

Any input as to what I should look for? I like the idea of Asus, Zenbooks are nice and thin but outside my price range.
 
$200 is a pretty stiff budget if you want a "decent" screen.

I can work around the screen, just something light and portable to throw a big drive in and keep for photography.

I'm looking at the Acer Aspire One 721, but am curious to some more options with similar specs..

I was thinking a Surface RT, but I don't believe I can put photoshop on that or lighroom.
 
Have you tried using such a low powered device though for what you want to do?

That laptop is going to be very poor performing, even in real world terms, compared the HP Elitebook listed in your sig for example.

You can't run those programs on Windows RT, you'd need a Surface Pro which has full Windows 8.

The cheapest devices I can think of with what I would consider a decent screen are actually the new Bay Trail devices such as the Asus T100a or the Dell Venue 8 Pro.
