Damn, I used to drop so much money at the arcade playing that game with my friends. Fulgore was my favorite, it was cool to play as Eyedol though. Man that brings back memories, back before my friends and I got a computer, we used to live for the Midway arcade fighting games (Mortal Kombat 1,2,3, Killer Instinct) good times.

Ghost in the Shell - Stand Alone Complex (PS2)
I've played the singleplayer campaign three times. It's an excellent 3rd person shooter, with hand-to-hand combat similar to Oni. The four person multiplayer is also a lot of fun. The cutscenese are very impressive too. It should be available in the US this fall.

It looks like FS2004, I don't think XPlane is as detailed (nothing against XPlane, it's a great game, but it hasn't not the real detail in the scenery that made MSFS popular.)

Beautiful Homeworld 2 screenies. The more I stare blindly at them, the more it makes me wish I had that game.

What frame-rate are you getting with that rig? Is it more CPU or GPU?

I get about a constant 55fps in that game maybe even higher sometimes (/me goes to check). It might go down to something like 40fps in huge battles but I can't quite remember. I have a feeling that the game is more CPU than GPU, but it's hard to tell. The reason I say that is that when I used to play the game at the stock 1.8GHz it would get choppy in a me vs the computer game when our two large battlefleets met. On the current rig it runs smooth as silk in the same situation. Same video card settings for both (highest possible with 4xAA and 8xAF).
