Troubled Tesla Inc. has quietly acquired Perbix, which designs robot production lines. Perbix was already a Tesla contractor. Since Tesla is already WAY behind on Model 3 production is Elon hoping this will help him to turn around the company and help them get back on track? Only time will tell, but spending more money when you aren't exactly raking it in might not be a good idea.

"With the acquisition of Perbix, Tesla further advances its efforts to turn the factory itself into a product – to build the machine that makes the machine," the electric carmaker burbled on its website.
 
Sounds like the AI has already infiltrated Musk's organization, and to think he cried out to tell everyone the horrors a little too late.
