Hey, a friend of mine got to a release-ready stage in his web-platform for team-based collaboration, and we're wanting to get some feedback. This would be very much appreciated! =)

My clanmates are mostly regular joes and all they've ever used are the default browsers.

If I click "Task" over and over, the same task dialog keeps repeating in the main view. If this desired?

looks nice and clean but i will ask, what does it do that doesn't already exist?

Yes. You aren't necessarily supposed to have the Task box opened 9-jillion times (but once, or twice, or as many as appropriately necessary for whatever you are doing). Think of that as your workspace, or your table (and if you had the ability to physically replicate things before your very eyes) -- you wouldn't make 99999 copies of your sales invoice, would you? :p You'd just want to move it around, work with it, maybe make it "go away" for a while before pulling it back up.

You could have a multimonitor setup, and have a Firefox instance for each monitor to TeamStack (multisessions are supported). This would increase collaborative workspace and organizational abilities just like that. :)

EDIT: Right now this is just a basic release. In the future I think we will be wanting to implement some sort of chat, perhaps based on Jabber or something, amongst other features. Other features, just off the top of my head, might include tabbed functions, additional columns in the workspace area, being able to move columns around, being able to move and change the ordering of boxes within columns/current configuration, a notepad with multiple tabs and being able to select who can read/write/both for each notepad tab (ie. only you, specific team members, or everyone), when you click on the name of a page in the update list that it would also highlight said changes (and that you would be able to toggle those highlights for that specific update-event), etcetera.

Different workflow, and it never hurts to have choices. :)

I'd be interested in knowing why...
Internet Explorer uses innerText instead of textContent, so it can't get the template files. :( However, he did not really check into it until now, and surprisingly IE only has a few kinks that we may be able to resolve. :)

Firefox has -moz functions
Safari has -webkit functions
No IE equivalent yet

HTML5 standard is a myth.

IE9 potentially does bitmap shadows right tho, albeit slow.
