Hey,

I have an extra 80gb hard drive laying around. It's been sitting in a box from when I moved and I am interested in plugging it into my PC now and seeing what's on it. What's the procedure for this, considering that its' the right "fit." Is it a matter of just plugging it into my board? It already has XP on it, but is there anything I have to do in my BIOS?

nope, should be able to just plug it in and go.
of course, shutting down your computer to hook it up.

Shouldn't need to do anything in the BIOS, as the defaults are usually Auto-Detect on all hdd ports. So unless you changed any of those to Disabled, you shouldn't need to do anything.
