• Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.

I've been in IT support for awhile. Supporting desktops, networks, and servers on all lvls. Anymore, I just feel like there's got to be something else in this industry. I just feel so burnt out in the support role.

I thought about signing up at local community college for some of the programming programs in C++, database design, or web programming (ASP etc...) but, pretty indecision on which to choose from.

But.. I know markets are different from town to town state to state. However, I was just curious to see, where the market's are today for the IT/Dev world. I know its a pretty broad question but, just trying to get some opinions.

Where the markets are? Like, in which cities? There's IT work everywhere. Development work? That's a different question.

I'd go comb dice.com or monster.com and look for jobs in categories you're interested in, in places to which you'd be willing to relocate.

No, not so much where work is but, something new to get into. Sorry about that..

The subject of your employmet is entirely up to you. You have to choose something that makes you happy an will keep you interested.

all the help wanted ads i've seen lately have been for .NET developers. if you enjoy OOP that's probably your best bet.
