My wife tripped on power cord of my 3.5 year old, pristine Studio 1555 a couple days ago.

Today, the power button doesn't work. Almost. I got the laptop to power up a couple times without the battery installed. With it powered on and working, I closed the lid. It immediately cut power. I haven't gotten it to come back on at all. The power cord has a fancy blue LED in the tip that is still lit. My battery shows a full charge when I test it. When I plug the power cord into the laptop, the little white LED on the laptop frame lights for 1 to 2 seconds, then goes off. Help!!

I can't even remember if the white LED should stay lit longer or if its acting normal.
