Streamengine and uTorrent

I have a Trendnet 633-GR running on my network at home. With streamengine and WISH on, using uTorrent completely slows down all my other connections, namely PS3 downloads as well as regular web surfing. Same problem does happen with both Streamengine and WISH off. Using a Buffalo WHR-G125, the problem also is resolved.

I have found the cause to be that Streamengine is prioritizing torrent downloads with the same priority as the other 2. I tried using Azureus briefly, and the same problem did not happen. Is uTorrent somehow modifying the protocol to receive higher priority than it should, or is it just the Streamengine that is faulty?

Is there a fix for this? Currently, all I have been able to do is to set the lowest priority on the port that BT goes through, but it would be nice for the router to properly assign low priority to uTorrent.

In utorrent:

Options -> Preferences -> Connection -> Maximum upload rate: Set something reasonable; I use 20

Options -> Preferences -> BitTorrent: Knock down the 3 settings -
Global maximum number of connections
Maximum number of connected peers per torrent
Number of upload slots per torrent
