I recently got my first SATA drive, previously I've only owned ATA100. Before installing, I had to update my BIOS for compliancy with SATA hard drives.... So I did that and instaleld the drive. However, now whenever I boot up the system hangs at the BIOS splash screen for about 3-4 MINUTES! Before I had this drive the system used to completely start up and be at the desktop in like 1 minute.

Does anyone know what happened? Why does it take so long to boot up now? And how can I fix it??? I'm sure that it shouldn't be doing this...
