Hi. I recently downgraded back to xp on a lenovo thinkpad. It has a quadro 140m vid card. I also use it on a Samsung SyncMaster 21" 2233BW monitor.

I am having a problem playing starcraft. The game will be displayed in its native resolution 640x480 in the top left corner of the screen. Before it would automatically stretch to fit. I have tried to change the scaling options in nvidia control panel, but it doesn't work that well and is not available when using the samsung monitor.

Anyone have/had this problem, know a fix??

Are you sure you tried "Do not scale" in the "Change flat panel scaling" section?

I just tried it for Fallout 3 @ 800 x 600 and it work as expected; a 800x600 window in the center with the excess monitor space blacked out. I'm using a 9600GT.
