Splinter Cell: Conviction (DX11)

Well... DX11 or not, this should be a good game. Looking forward to it for sure.

Pandora Tomorrow's multiplayer was the shit though. Was that developed by Montreal?

The last poster that answered your question is wrong. Multiplayer for both Pandora Tomorrow and Chaos Theory (specifically SvM) were developed by Ubisoft Annecy.

A bit off topic here, but with all these Christmas sales happening, I've seen Assassin's Creed 2 selling for $29.99 for the 360 and have been fighting myself not to buy it. I hated the original game on the 360, but for some reason (decreased expectations maybe) I loved it on the PC. AC looked amazing on the PC, I thought.

AC 2 is going to be everything that the first game wasn't - I know I'm going to love it. I keep on telling myself that if I buy the 360 version I can always just play the first act, as though I'm just playing a demo... but it's likely that I wouldn't be able to stop playing. :(

It's getting really hard for me to not get AC2 on the PS3 for a nice winter getaway game, especially since I know it's probably the Game of the Year, or at least it would be for me.

The game will be epic. The Montreal Studio has a very talented pool of resources. Just look at their past achievements. So far they've picked up momentum on creating better and better games so it looks like they know what they're doing.

Bon! Bon!

I remember the game was developed by two separate studios. Spies vs. Mercs made the franchise, for me, which of course started with SC:pT. The SvM didn't feel as fresh in SC:CT, but then the coop blew me out of the water. SC:DA's SvM sucked ass...

I dunno, I LOVED the first game, played so many hours, but this just doesn't look like...Splinter Cell. The trailers are all quick-time button-pushing strings, or shoot-em up action scenes. Where's the careful sneaking, choking, and stashing?

I really wish they'd implement a good public/crowd stealth system though. AC's sucked.
