sound card bridging

i have two sound cards. my tv tuner will only work with one of them. unfortunately, my speakers are hooked up to the other one.

i need some way to get sound from card a to card b, without using any extra cables.. i'd like to do it digitally.

one is a built in onboard card, the other is an emu0404.

any ideas?
 
If you're using Linux I know this is possible with ALSA. If so tell me and I could give you some relevant resources, if you're in Windows you might get some one of the sound guru's here to help you. Not sure if it's possible though.
 
using winxp. i think it would be fairly simple with directx. just need to capture the output of the onboard audio and sent it to the output of the emu card.. i might write it myself if nothing exists.
