I have an Asus P5Q-E mobo combo (P45 Socket LGA 775) that includes an Intel Core2 Duo 3.16GHz and Crucial 2GB DDR2 memory for a total of 8GB. Includes the original box, some print out sheets for the connections to the mobo, and Rear I/O Panel Shield.

The mobo works with no issues. I just updated to a newer system to support better video editing. I used this combo for years, with the last 5 years used as a server for my 4TB hard drive that contains all my files I've saved. It has Windows 10 Pro activation from Windows 7 Pro upgrade installation. Since the mobo, ram, and cpu have not been updated, it should activate Windows 10 pro, or may be used as a legacy desktop for playing older games. The mobo has never been overclocked or used to play any games. I will also include a new Intel CPU cooler.

hey just wanted to give some advice - i still have this exact board and i paired it with a "Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU X5460 @ 3.16G" you can do a 771 to 775 mod and then overclock these xeon chips to 4.0 easily
also if you wanted to use this board for mining (i did even though its prob not that efficient but i had this board ever since it came out and its still working today) - you can use up to 5 gfx cards is what i found out - you put 4 on a 4 way splitter one one of the pci- lanes and then you have another graphics card directly to one of the other pci-e slots. any more than that and the board wont boot. anyway you can still do pretty much anything with this board nowadays if you do the xeon mod (super easy to do - you put a sticker on the back of the chip and cut off 2 plastic pieces with a razor blade)

Thanks shamgar for the info, but the mod would be for someone else to play with. I'm surprised no one has picked this up yet so up we go, and I'll throw in a brand new Intel CPU cooler.
