SLI usage question

So I'm running Dark Souls 2 on my rig with 2 680s in SLI. SLI is enabled, but in-game I'm getting one card that appears to be doing all the work. Temps on the second card don't rise much if at all.

Is this because there is not an SLI profile for Dark Souls 2 yet? SLI definitely works in other games and benchmarks....

Not every game supports SLI... as a matter of fact many do not. Assume all games do not support it unless specified.

but that is what I'm seeing correct? if SLI was being used, the cards would be a lot closer in temps, etc....

Also I'm reading you can "force" SLI by changing a setting called "Alternate Frame rendering"?

I think the only way is to actually force sli in non sli games is to set up a profile in the nv control panel for that specific game. AFR will work when sli is working. Don't quote me on that though.
