i am currently using win2k, i love it so much, very very stable. althought i had my bad days with winxp, on my older comps, kept getting the physical memory dump crap and pissed me off so much. i have not yet tried winxp on my current machine and i wonder if winxp will be as stable as win2k along with all the new updates.

whats ur opinion? win2k or winxp?
 
My opinion is that XP would be better, but the fact is that XP and 2K are equally stable.

Use what you want. Wear what you want. Drink what you want.
 
well i see your point there, win2k does take some time for it to load while winxp loads ur os real quick. i guess ill stay with win2k, looks like there is not much of a difference between the two when it comes to stability.
 
Isn't Windows XP more friendly towards games? I seem to remember more games not running properly on 2K than XP, so you need to decide how important games are.
 
don't fix it if it ain't broke.

if you don't need the update, why do it? It will just be more of a pain in the ass for you.
