I am using a Samsung SyncMaster 225BW monitor with an old school GeForce 4ti 4200. My screen sometime blinks on and off, and sometimes will not show unless I push the screen off and then back on. I believe I am running the most recent drivers for my monitor, and I have updated my drivers for the video card as well. Is my graphics card going out? I'm trying to figure out what is causing this small annoyance.

Thanks,
Ryan

Is that a CRT monitor? If so, sounds like it's getting ready to die of old age. If it's the type that has a fully removable power cord, the cord might have worked its way loose and need to be re-seated.

No it's not the CRT Model. It is a 22" LCD and it does have a fully removable power cord, but I feel like that is not the problem. Can this be correlated to my graphics card being so old?
