I picked up this titles over the weekend at Target on the clearance rack for $10. I was a bit skeptical at first, but wow, I really must say that this is a refreshing sleeper hit for me! I like the blended style of being able to either play more stealthy or just straight run'n'gunin. I am also appreciating Dark Athena as a good linear FPS in this day and age where every single game is going "sandbox" with subpar stories and scripting.

Im sure the MP is wash and likely has no community, but getting 2 SP games in one pack for $10 I say is good game!
 
Heading over to Target as soon as my shift ends. The original Butcher Bay is such a great game.
 
WTF? I've been waiting for a deal like this specifically for Dark Athena. Driving there now.

Wow kinda makes me regret buying this game on release. Don't get me wrong, great game... but a $40 price drop in what 2 months? If i'd known I would have definitely waited.

Damn, I was over at Target this weekend. Thought to myself about going to the PC section but figured nothing would be worth while for now. Guess I was wrong.....:(
 
I have 2 local Targets and both pull games off their shelves and put them on a designated clearance shelf on an endcap. I checked my other local Target and they didn't have it. I picked up the only copy where I got this one, so its definitely an MMV

Wow, looks like I really happened across a little hidden gem! I didn't realize it was only like 2 months old.
 
Butcher Bay was much much better. I couldn't keep my hands off playing BB. I played Dark Athena for about 2 hours and it didn't have the same intensity.
 
I found Dark Athena for $25 on eBay, last month. $10 is an insane price. Go get it! It's very good, a worthy successor to the magnificent Butcher Bay. Hope we get a third installment in a couple of years.
 
I stopped at my local Target (near Chapel Hill Mall, akron, ohio) and they were wiped out of alot of games. I found it on ebay for less than $18 shipped and snagged that.
 
they've got this game for 5 bucks on d2d right now.
 
If you haven't played this game, you don't know how brutal melee combat should be done in a video game. . .*shanks a guy in the eye*
