So here is my new build, tell me what you think. I started with http://www.hardforum.com/showthread.php?t=1388074 and I think I ended up with a pretty good build that is actually a little cheaper than the first and overall should perform better.

So here's the parts list:

I'm planning on doing a Mirror RAID with the two HDD's, but I am a bit concerned with what I have heard about newegg's packaging of multiple HDD's. Should I put one on a separate order so that it comes in it's own box and they don't get beat up in shipping?

Keep in mind my overall build goals are pretty much for an all purpose system with photoshop being of extra importance.

EDIT: Fixed broken link

Get the hard drives from ZipZoomFly as they (reportedly) package them better than NewEgg.

I'd strongly recommend the Antec Solo or P182 over the NZXT if you are looking for a quiet case. NZXT build quality sucks.

Also a warning about the fan on the 4870 DK, it is set at 50% idle by default and spins up to 60%~ at load which is rather loud. It also does not exhaust the heat from the case.

OK so I'm going to swap out the case for one from a manufacturer that is well known (we chose that one because it seemed good on paper and my wife and I thought it had a nice look.

As for the video card, are all of the 4870's loud or are there some that are better?
