Reviews before official launch?

Did we always get reviews of video cards on the actual day of the launch, or is nVidia just scared of showing real perf numbers before the cards are out?
 
Even though there's an article stating that Benchmarks won't be released on the 26th, I seriously doubt this and I'm willing to bet that the NDA will be lifted for everyone on the 26th.
 
Reviews should be on the 26th.

We never get anything before launch from nvidia. They didn't leak stuff before the 8800 GTX, nor the 280, haven't seen anything before the GTX 480 either. It's just the way they do things. It has no effect on how good the card is or is not.
