Hi i bought a computer from a manufactor called tiny. Its worked fine for about a year but when i went to clean it out i unpluged a hard drive, i pluged it back in shut the case, then when i booted up it was saying i need to register windows. So i registered it. Now my computers cpu fan sounds like its spining at full rpm all the time. So i tryed to use a restore disk i got with my computer but it says this software is licenced to your computer, unable to deturm bios lock. How can i change my bios back so i can restore my computer. And what would be making the cpu fan spinning so fast?. Thanks in advance if you can help me.
 
What did you do when you "cleaned out the computer"? Unless your re-seated your heatsink on the CPU and it's not making proper contact with the CPU core, I can't help you with the CPU fan spinning at full speed.I dont know what you did to make your computer re-activate your copy of Windows but are you telling us the full story?
 
yeah thats the full story. Well i installed sp2 but the firewall was blocking everything so i uninstalled it again, if that has anything to do with it
 
You can turn off the windows firewall without uninstalling SP2. Go to start - control panel - windows firewall.

Your problem doesn't make any sense. Your fan speed should not change by cleaning the system.
 
iv already uninstalled sp2. Is there away for me to change my bios back so that i can use my restore my comp. and hopefully the fan should sort it self out
