I'm curious how you all recycle your old computer equipment. Personally, I take a lot of it to Best Buy for their recycling program, but I wanted to know if you had any other/better ideas.

Right now, Best Buy has the only "serious" recycling program out of the major retailers. Then again, most office supply stores (as well as many computer retailers) allow you to recycle smaller items like printer cartridges and cell phone batteries.

The only way to find a recycling program for your computer hardware -- outside of selling the old parts -- is to use Google/Bing for something in your area.
 
I take it to my local government-sponsored recycling depot. Or my local FreeGeek if I think it's actually useful gear.
