Hi all. I have two gaming headsets (so headphone + mic) that the cables have just worn out on over time and I'd like to build replacement cables. I realize I could just replace the headsets (they're cheap) but like the idea of building new cables.
I can do basic soldering and it doesn't look particularly difficult, but there seem to be many options out there for wire.
Does anyone have a recommended brand/source that they've used in the past?
Thanks!
P.S. Also, if there is a specific brand of TRRS plug you'd recommend, that would help too.
