recomend descreet program that can send emails

alright, my boss has a program called "Troop Master Millenium Edition" which he uses for his kid's boy scouts stuff. Within this program you can create reports and tell the program to mail the reports to the specified parents of children who are on the list inside the program BUT this program contains no mail settings what-so-ever, it has no way to specify an smtp server or anything so you would need another mail program to use as somewhat of a conduit. Outlook will not do this because it thinks im trying to mass mail or something like that, basically it wont allow the stuff to be mailed from a third party program, so what im looking for is a program that is very descreet (probably just chills down in the systray or something) that would be able to catch these emails and send them out to the specified emails (its only like 20 people)
so if anyone has any recomendation on programs, please lemme know

you might be able to use a command line email client, google it because i can't remember the name of any, i never had any luck getting them to work with batch file, then again i didnt' spend much time on it. Maybe you will have more luck
 
thanks theDot but(granted i havent looked very hard) i cant really figure out ow this program is just going to grab the emails that this troopmaster program is going to send out
could you help me out a little bit??
 
Despite my hatred of Boy Scouts (the organization) I did what I should've done in the first place ... it turns out that you CAN email reports from within TroopMaster ME. As detailed by the mortar board wearing owl who will make you want to gouge your own eyes out with a number 2 pencil.
