Does anyone have any ideas as to what would cause a different BSOD every time I try to install Windows 7 (64bit)? Sometimes it is 5 minutes after selecting the partition and hitting next, other times it doesn't even make it to the accept agreement screen.
I ran memtest and didn't encounter any issues after one pass, I've also swapped memory slots to see if that made any difference, it didn't. My setup is a Gigabyte EP45-UD3P and an e6400 with 4GB Gskill memory. My video card is a 9800 gtx+. I've gotten my copy of 7 from MSDNAA, and while I've burned it many times, I still get the same issue. I'm currently re-downloading it to see if a new image would help, but I figure I would get some input in the meantime.
Currently in progress:
Re-downloading iso
Slow/full format step in xp install, to see if that even works.
To Try: (edit, tried and failed, same issue)
Try to install via usb dvd drive.
Edit: original setup below, I swapped out the motherboard and memory for the W7 install. I'm using the primary orange/yellow sata ports for my dvd drive and HD.
