Connection front panel of case to motherboard (abit k8vpro), (X-Dreamer II).

Manuel says to connect and mind the polarity. I am checking on the cables and it doesn't say + on any of them...there is a triangle and and "S". I am just going to assume that white in a cable is positive...

Right?

No, that is not right. In DC circuits red is normally the positive, and black is the negative... In AC circuits, black is the hot wire and white is neutral..in AC circuits, there is no definitive Positive or negative as is found in DC since the AC swaps polarity 60 times a second in normal US household current.

I would think that what the manual means to "mind the polarity" means the LED connections. LEDs will only light up if they are connected correctly..but, if turned around the wrong way...they just do not light, but nothing is harmed..simply swap the two wires around.

The case power switch, reset switch, & speaker cannot be connected backwards...anyway you put them on the pins, they will work
