I'm looking to add a second hard drive to a HP a405 (http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/...539&lc=en&cc=us&dlc=en&product=397597&lang=en) and am thinking of putting a 500gb in, is there a limit to the size of the disk this pc would support?

Its ICH4, so it can support large drives (>137GB; unless it needs a BIOS update). You should format it in NTFS.

It should work fine, assuming your OS is up to date with the latest service packs.
