Question about bootvis and prefetch

Before running bootvis and it's optimization function, it would take roughly around 3 cycles of the blue bar to get to the login screen, then from the login screen to desktop, it would lag a little. After running bootvis, the complete opposite occured, now it would take around 10 bars to get to the login screen , but the login to desktop time is almost instant. When I empty out the prefetch folder, boot times would go back to what it was like before I ran bootvis, but after a few reboot cycles and prefetch builds back up its files, I'm back at the long bar cycles but short login-to-desktop times. From what's happening, am I correct to assume that windows is probably prefetching a specific item that's causing the slow down during the bar cycles, or is just a resulft of all of the prefetches? The bootvis trace does not show any specific file that's slowing down the bootup process. My goal is to ultimately have the best of both situations, the short bar cycles with the almost instant login-to-desktop time. Everything is booted off of a 74g WD Raptor, and the rest of my setup is in my sig.
