Well I setup my loop and I'm pleased with it more-or-less, but i didn't add a dedicated drain line. Not that I plan on draining it soon... but incase I want to add more parts later, I should put one in.
The lowest part of the system is a Swiftech MCP 350 with an XSPC res top on the bottom of my case. Currently I have the pump outlet connected to a bitspower 90* rotary going straight up into a rad. Can I replace that 90* fitting with a bitspower T fitting that has the upward outlet going to the rad and then the downward outlet going to a Koolance QDC female that exits the bottom of the case without affecting the flow of that part of the system? I'm using 3/8" ID 5/8" OD tubing with compression fittings everywhere else.
Anyone know more about the flow of fluids? I recall from another post that since the the downward outlet is just filled with still liquid, it shouldn't affect the upward flow. So I by adding this drain config, I shouldn't be changing the system at all? Also does anyone know the measurements for the QDC? I have my pump loosely mounted to the bottom of the case on top of some Petra's gel stuff.
