Hi!
Hardware:
Motherboard: Asus M2NBP-VM CSM.
CPU: Athlon x2 64 4000+
Ram 2x1gig kingston
PSU: Fortron Blue Storm II 500W
hdd.

Problem:
Early in the morning I start up my pc and on few occasions in the last week the system doesn't boot. No post, no beep, monitor says no video input.
When press start button all 3 fans - cpu, psu, case start to spin. CD led light up, diode on motherboard is constantly glowing.
Led on case doesn't glow.

Shutdown the system from psu switch then start it from there. If i do it quickly the system is starting all by itself and boots into windows 7, if i stay for a second or so and switch it on the system stays off. But boots normally from case button. Everything looks normal. No random shutdowns no nothing. This isn't happening every day though. Yesterday I open and clean what was inside. and assemble again - it's start normally.
I didn't saw any capacitor problems, i checked the psu too.
Today the same happen.
Once the system is started i don't have problems shutting down/restarting/starting the system.
It's just in the morning.
The system is brought 2007, no overclocking.

In another forum i ask and receive as answer that the psu is dying.
If it is, what time i have before it dies totally and what are possible damages on other components?
I don't have another psu to swap with.
If is to be change what psu to buy? Would 350w be sufficient?

No video card?

If not, then yes 350w is enough. You could get a CX430 corsair for chump change and be upgrading from that FSP crapper.

I think that for the moment I won't call the troops in.
I just measure 242 Volts on my electrical network. The Forton is rated for 240VAC max so creating quick electrical load (switching on electrical appliance) drop below that value and the system is up again. The problem appears only in the morning when I am the only one awake thus no load + sun of a gun electrical company.
If the psu blows up i will let you now. For the statistics.
10x for input :)
