What price range? If you can swing $2100, go for the Panasonic PT-AE700. If you're a couple hundred short, maybe the Sanyo PLV-Z3 would be more your thing. Those two are very similar although I think that the picture quality on the Panasonic comes out just a bit ahead...the Z3 allows more placement options though, so look into both. That's just on the LCD side of things...typically, DLP projectors will give you more light output. The rainbowing effect that they can give (due to a color wheel that is not fast enough) might be too much for you, so be sure to see the model you're interested in person before buying. Without more info from you I don't know what to tell you. Also, check out the projector section of the AVS Forums since you'll have more poeple who can help you over there.
