Project management with serial tasks

I have a need for an online project management tool to share with collaborators outside of my company.

The feature I can't seem to find is serial tasks (e.g. Task 2 can't start until Task 1 is complete). Unless I'm missing where this feaure is, all I can find are tasks that have independent start/end dates.

My preference is for each task to have an estimated duration, and fill in the start dates as they can be started, so at any time, I (or more importanly a collaborator) can see how it has taken a project to get to where it is, and how long I can expect the rest of the project to take. This is necessary because the first steps of the project always take a variable amount of time due to a reliance in information from a client.

I understand MS Project has this feature, but we aim to avoid having me be the bottleneck for information getting out to partners.

Am I asking for too much?

Here's a couple that allow that allow predecessors/dependencies.
Thanks for the suggestions. While all interesting I can't seem to find what I really want. Everything is too calendar dependant. Maybe what I want is too simple?
