I got a laptop and I did a reinstall of windows. I went to sonys website and theres no software for the keys above the keyboard. I was wondering if anyone knew a good 3rd party app that I can use to reprogram my keys.

I'm not sure how to rearrange your keys manually. But I know of a keyboard layout used by some programmers, which is Dvorak.

There is one other layout that I am aware of, Colemak.

I hope you find what you are looking for, whether you want to use a layout already made, or make your own layout.

Usually it's software like Quickkeys or whatever, on HP laptops. I know Sony makes it because I just worked on a Vaio laptop a few weeks ago and it had the keyboard software on it and running. I just can't remember what it was called.

A 5 second google search found me this http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=111201

Also, I read that Japanese laptops were imported to the US, and Sony US does not have the software for them on their website.
