Problems post installation of Win 7

Installation went fine...64 bit...

However, after the installation...after it rebooted itself for the 2nd time...i get the Windows animation...then...a blank screen...i can see my mouse pointer and in the bottom right corner it says Windows 7 Eval copy Build 7100

If i boot in safe mode it says that Windows 7 cant complete the installation in safe mode. Please restart. I restart and i get the same thing again.

Reinstalled twice...



Any ideas ?

Its a DELL Dimension 9200 running the following :

Intel Core2 6600 @ 2.4GHz
Mainboard is Dell Inc. 0WG855
4GB RAM
Nvidia 7900 GS(256MB)
320GB WDC
 
Hahaha...some of you arent going to believe this..

So I was really frustrated..staring at my blank monitor with only the Windows 7 Eval bla bla in the bottom right screen..

So i got to thinking...ive done hundreds of windows installs before...what happens just before it finalises installation...hmmm...well..it asks for a user name...so...with my screen still blank, i type in a name and hit enter...HDD light starts blinking...then it stops...then i think again...hmmm....Enter twice...HDD light goes nuts again andddd VOILA...im in

hahahaah...
