Today I got my new Shuttle AN35N-Ultra board which is a HUGE improvement over my old ECS K7S5A. I installed it no problems. Everything appeared to be running perfect. I started playing Tacops, about 10 mins in the screen would freeze and my music would freeze for several seconds at a time. Then it would play normal for little while before it froze again etc.
Now Tacops isnt a very demanding game its based on the Unreal engine. I thought it might be my cpu overheating, and it was a little hot 55C. But I don't think it would cause the game to behave like that. I have two ram sticks, one is 3200 other is 2100, and thought there might be some conflicts so i removed but the problem is still there. Im kinda dumbfounded on this one, any help would be greatly appreciated.
specs:
Shuttle AN35N-Ultra
Athlon Xp 2100+ - not overclocked
512 mb Elixer ddr 3200 + 256 mb Crucial ddr 2100
Thermaltake fan on the cpu
Radeon 8500 64 mb
Maxtor 40 gb 5200 rpm
Maxtor 80 gb 7200 rpm
onboard sound and lan
