That screen is Battlog. You have to log into it with your EA App Credentials.

Is it possible the game you were trying to join is a map or expansion you don't own yet?

My point is if he was logged in, it would of shown the screenshots that both Armenius and myself had posted and the rest would of been self explanatory.
