My grandfather has a Microsoft Sidewinder Precision Pro joystick which we are trying to get to work on his computer. It used to be installed and worked fine, however, after a recently required installation of Windows 98SE, we were unable to get it working. Whenever I start the program to install the Microsoft drivers, it freezes at about 50% and locks the computer up. Does anyone have any idea what could be causing this problem, and how I might be able to solve it?
