So i found out my HP dv1040us is out of warranty, so maybe someone would know something about this.

my laptop will not power on, unless i disconnect and connect the power adapter many times. I charged both my batteries to full when it was on for a night. then next day, it will power on for a min then shut down. i have to start unplugging and plugging it in again.

when it does this, it will not run of either of my batteries.

Has anyone ever heard of this or know how to fix it? I ordered a new DC power connector for the motherboard. I have already tried re-soldering the one that was on the laptop but it still kinda worn out after 2 years. And i got a new targus adapter for this laptop, and still does teh same thing.
