Apple Macbook Core Duo 1.83
Apple Cinema HD DIsplay
Logitech Z4i Speakers

Wallpaper is Of Me and You by Psychopulse. It can be downloaded @ InterfaceLIFT

That lookes to be a 20 inch Apple Cinema, in which case its not "HD". Apple only gives that to the 23 and 30 inch ones since the 20 inch cannot display a full 1080 resolution.

Made a move today from 6x250GB in raid 10 to 2x750GB in raid 1 for the mac storage box. Running two brand new Seagate 750s. They are quiet which is realy nice, though they do seem to be running warm. One was at 44C the other like 37C. Plus I did some work on the desktop and downloaded some new guikits. Photopro 1.5 transparent is nice. Plus I added a 1000 MBit nic so all the PCI_64 slots are now used. I still have 6 ports open on my RocketRaid 2220 so I figure I'll make the move to 4 Raid 1 arrays making 700x4 = ~2.8 TB if I would ever need that. These seagate's a pretty fast. Here's a performance benchmark for two of those new 750s in Raid 1. Another in raid 0. I'm finding that raid 1 is a lot better than raid 5 or raid 10 for home storage.

Umm...hackintosh?

whar are the specs on all 3 desktop monitors?
i have a mac white keyboard just like that!

The 2 black monitors on the side are Samsung 225BW 22" monitors. They were good monitors when considering the price I got them at $220 each from Staples. Aside from a little backlight bleed, they work fine.

The huge screen in the back is the Sharp LC32GP1U LCD TV which does 1920x1080 through DVI or HDMI. It makes a great monitor/tv! There's a thread somewhere in the Display forum about this screen.

May I ask why you have 2 powerbooks?

I have 2 powerbooks because the prices have fallen for powerbooks in general. I picked up that 15" in the background because everyone has been upgrading lately. I'm already reselling it because of the deal for the black macbook up on amazon for $1099 after rebate. No tax

I checked Amazon, but that great price is for the white MacBook w/1.83 GHz C2D. The black one has the 2.0 GHz C2D and is listed at $1399. :(

Yeah Amazon was directly selling Black Macbooks last night because of the new revisions apple released yesterday bumping up the notebooks from 2.0 to 2.16 and a larger hard drive (hardly an upgrade though). It was selling @ Amazon for $1199 - $100 rebate. So $1099

This maybe a bit off topic, but here it goes...

The thing that I really hate about Macs now is that some of the users are desperately trying to prove that Macs are teh 1337zorz, lol, but here people just enjoy their Macs and I love that!

Peace...

Next computer is probably a Mac Pro (or equivalent at time of purchase). So much so that I considered an ACD instead of the Dell 2407, but it just wasn't worth paying a few hundred more for an inch smaller, and not having the component inputs if I ever want to move an XBox 360 in here.

Shitty cell phone pic ftw.

All that expensive hardware and a camera that's likely no more than what a Mighty Mouse cost. Interesting contrast?

EDIT: I received a PM from bmwrob regarding my comments. Since you can't receive PMs, I'll make it public.

I'm sorry.

Yeah, i love the paint in my room, three walls are that brownish color and the wall directly behind me is a nice dark red :)

My mac mini PPC connected to TV via svideo, used as a network based HTMAC if that makes sense, all files are played off teh mac but stored on the network.
