Oh, and I have a new revision 12" iBook G4, and a 3G 20g Ipod I just took back to best buy, hopefully in a few weeks theyll say its broken, and I'll be able to get a beautiful new 4G 40g :D
 
i have a pismo powerbook. one of these days im gonna buy a new powerbook.
 
No, I did it myself. It's a sikkens paint with a clearcoat that is used in car door jams. It's not as shiny as most clear coats, but a little more durable.

You don't have to be an employee to be running Tiger... just part of the beta program.

he was referring to the guy who has the pic of a power- or ibook, w/e it is, w/ the red screen. he said he had to blot the screen out because Apple doesnt allow screenshots of tiger.

it was a mass install of panther. my machine, my sisters and her roomates. it's the only pic i have online of my setup. i have actually moved since then, but that doesn't really matter i guess.
 
here's the answer to your little "how did he get tiger?" conflict. if you went to the WWDC over the summer you received a working beta dvd of tiger. you can also receive that dvd by registering as a develper at the apple site and buying the tiger software development kit for a mere 2500 dollars. apple wanted to be the only ones ever publishing screenshots of tiger. it's part of the policy if you own a copy. that's why he blacked out the screen of his PB.

alright here's my 'setup'... or more accurately a pic of it. my goal was something very minimal, like my 'taste' if i have any, thus the PB and wireless printing (C86), Ethernet (OC12, packet shaped to squat), and audio (M-Audio Studio Pro 4's) via the Airport Express.

man, do you need RAM in the worst way.
 
mmmm... lacie... it's hard for me to explain how kick ass it is. i had built them in the past (the metal gear) so purchasing an external hard drive isn't my primary choice of action, but i wanted firewire 800. the build quality is second to none, it's heavy, metal, and soft. i love it :D too.
