I still think that VR games are pretty bad and the future of VR is in porn.

A fitting end to the [H]ard forum VR thread.
It did have some earned giggles to be sure.
But as the VR industry has gone, and these fair forums perseverance, it appears to the observable viewer that it is time to let go.

Meta literally just announced the Quest 3S yesterday. There are over 50 million people with VR headsets in the USA. It's doing fine.

Is that assuming each VR headset owner has purchased one headset or perhaps have 50 million been sold to far less than 50 million people via continually buying newer and varying models?

I just pulled the first figure off the google summary. But actually looking into it the source google used is completely wrong. I traced their numbers to some medical study claiming 65 million americans tried VR, which is obviously some sort of extrapolation, so who knows how accurate it really is.

No one is sharing their sales data. The only info we have is from last year when Meta said they sold 20 million Quest headsets. So probably 10s of millions of americans use VR.
 
Until you can get 2x Varjo/pimex quality at Quest prices VR won't be mainstream.

I downloaded DeoVR (free) and purchased a month of SLR membership (you could just google it and add VR porn).
If you have good connection to run 3k+ resolution, this shit is truly next gen, lol.

With all that being said, I think passthrough on it is overrated and I won't be continuing my membership.
But if people like it, hey I don't judge. I will argue that VR porn is way more impressive than VR games if you compare them to their "flat" counterparts.

There's two types of guys guys who watch porn and guys who lie about watching porn :p I've had VR for years now and yes I've looked at VR surround videos Just out of curiosity But I've refused to look at any of that anime Stuff/Games as it's definitely not for me. It do thoroughly enjoy my VR workouts, especially Les Miles Combat ...That's the only type of Beating I'm doing in VR.
 
Why is everyone acting like you can either bang chicks or watch VR porn? You can do both simultaneously, and it's pretty fun.
