OK bought dad a Patriot 32 gig ssd and was copying over from old hdd to new hdd with roadkils copier program and get a please enter disk message after it finished. The ssd was the only hdd plugged in. Any help or ideas is Tankies In advanced :D

so uh, where does the error pop up? just after copying, or when trying to boot off the SSD?
and please enter disk, or please insert disk?

can't say I have ever seen a plain "Please enter disk" error. "Please insert disk" sure, although accompanied by a drive letter or "Please insert system disk"

it happens after i try to boot from the ssd drive its windows 7 pro 64 bit btw... sorry

What's the exact message?
Does BIOS see the drive?
Is the main partition active?
Does the main partition have a boot manager/boot loader?
